On Sunday, May 18th Javier got Baptized. For those of you who may not know Javi accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was 3 1/2 years old! He still remembers it. Last year we spoke to him about what it meant to be Baptized but he wasn't ready to go under water. A few months ago it came up during one of our readings at Quiet Time. He told me 'Mom, I am ready to do it, I'm ready to be Baptized as soon as I turn 7.' I asked him what it meant to him he replied 'I am ready to tell the world that I believe in Jesus"...so we found out that the same week he turned 7 they were doing Baptism at church. Javier shared this Bible verse he memorized before being dunked, it sums it all up :) Psalms 51:2 'WASH AWAY ALL MY INIQUITY AND CLEANSE ME FROM MY SIN'

How precious is that!!! Give Javier a big hug for me and tell him how proud I am of him for taking that big step to let the world know that Jesus has his heart!
Congratulations Javier! Getting baptized and committing to show the world what Jesus looks like takes a lot of courage. I saw you not too long ago...you are doing a great job!

How exciting! Little Javi has such a sweet spirit. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Exciting news about adoption too. I would love to hear more. I will be praying for you! Miss you!
