On Sunday, May 18th Javier got Baptized. For those of you who may not know Javi accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was 3 1/2 years old! He still remembers it. Last year we spoke to him about what it meant to be Baptized but he wasn't ready to go under water. A few months ago it came up during one of our readings at Quiet Time. He told me 'Mom, I am ready to do it, I'm ready to be Baptized as soon as I turn 7.' I asked him what it meant to him he replied 'I am ready to tell the world that I believe in Jesus"...so we found out that the same week he turned 7 they were doing Baptism at church. Javier shared this Bible verse he memorized before being dunked, it sums it all up :) Psalms 51:2 'WASH AWAY ALL MY INIQUITY AND CLEANSE ME FROM MY SIN'

News Flash!!!!
It's official we are in the process of Adoption! I am typing in pink and praying it will be a little girl, but there is a slight possiblity it could be a boy. Last year, we went to Colombia with our boys in August to visit extended family and we visited an Orphanage. When we came back Andrew said "Maybe we should go back and get a little girl" :) I've always wanted to adopt, but Andrew didn't feel the tug. Soo...I didn't think we would. After our trip God changed his heart. After attending a Women's Christmas Dinner at church I was really convicted to get the ball rolling. Sarah (Pastor Bob's daughter) shared her journey of adopting their little girl Ester from China. I was literally weeping by the end of the dinner. That was Monday night, Tuesday morning...I was on the phone calling to find out more information. Currently we have an International Agency in Minneapolis and another here who will do our Home Study. There are endless piles of paperwork, errands to run, etc....but we are in the process...in a journey, in an adventure. Please pray for God to gives us what we need at this time (perseverance, dicernment, patience). More to come....
