Javier LOVES playing piano. He had his Piano Recital last weekend. Javi truly enjoys playing and is blessed to have a wonderful piano teacher Ms. Katie. His song was three pages long..."If I Only Had a Brain" from Wizard of Oz.
Just thought I would share some fun pictures of what we have been up to. Josiah helping me water my herbs and plants...he's all about it because he can get wet :0) Also, he got the coolest rainboots ever ...yes, they are 'Fire Engine Rainboots' he wears them everywhere. Since Jojo's favorite book ever is 'Fire Engines' we thought it appropriate to find him some boots to match! The last picture is of him 'helping' mommy bake a cake this morning. He stood next to me and said 'I watch too, Mommy'...so I sat him up on the counter...and then I heard 'I lick too, Mommy', thus the picture! Cream cheese frosting, YUM!!!
Since it was Father's Day Weekend we decided to let 'daddy' choose our family activities for the weekend. And of course, we went hiking! It was a perfect day, breezy and sunny. We all enjoyed being outdoors and the fresh air (did I just say that, Andrew is converting me!). Our good friends (David, Megan and their little boy Beckham) came with us. We had a wonderful hike, lunch at the top of the mountain, and even had a snowball fight. FUN TIMES :) We ended the day at home watching Princess Bride with Javier, eating popcorn and candy...Jojo, he fell asleep quick after the big hike.
