Teddy Bear Drive

Earlier this summer Javier and I decided to do something special for our new friends, the orphans in Colombia. We wanted to let them know we hadn't forgotten them, so we thought up the 'perfect idea' (the boys are always saying that to each other 'oohh... I know I have the perfect idea'). Our boys love their stuffed animals, they name them, play with them, sleep them, do worship, go on adventures, you name it, they do it! Javier drew up a flyer for a 'Teddy Bear Drive ' we dropped off flyers to our neighborhood friends, and later that afternoon we got called for our first job. We pulled weeds, helped wash a car, and pulled more weeds :) The parents of our missionary friends were going to Colombia in June to welcome their brand new granddaughter and were very sweet to take the stuffed animals to our orphans! Thanks to them and all our friends who were so generous not only were the kids in the orphanage blessed but so were some neighborhood kids. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
